Sicily, Italy
In 2019 the camp will be held in Acireale CT, Sicily from 29th July until 3rd of August for epee and from 4th of August until 9th of August for foil.
There will be 2 trainings per day, most of the time - fencing. There are also some condititional trainings included in the program.
During the practice Enrico Garozzo, Daniele Garozzo, Erika Kirpu and Alice Volpi will be present and fence with the athletes, give them suggestions, watch them fencing and analyze their matches.
The coaches are Angelo Mazzoni(epee), Diego Confalonieri,(epee), Fabio Galli (foil), Stefano Barrera(foil) and other younger coaches.
We will train, excluding the days of arrival, departure and sea trip, two times per day. From 9 to 12 a.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.
The hotel includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There is also a possibility for the parents to stay in the same hotel of the fencers with a good rate that is possible to get booking just by us.
As well there will be provided different excursions for those who are interested in discovering Sicily.
The training hall is “Palazzetto dello sport di Santa Venerina” where actually trains "Club Scherma Acireale". It takes about 10/15 minutes by bus (organized by us) to arrive from the hotel to the fencing hall.
The price of the camp is 700 eur. All the fencers will get three lessons with the coaches and have chance to fence with the athletes from the staff.
There are already registered fencers from Italy, USA, Japan, Hong-Kong, China, Estonia, Belgium, Greece .
