Dear All,
The Icelandic Fencing Federation and the Nordic Sabre Center have the honor to invite the members of the Nordic Fencing Union to participate in the Nordic Sabre Championships, that will take place on the 10th & 11th of October 2015 in the Fencing Sabre Center in Laugardal, Reykjavik. In conjunction with the Nordic Sabre Championships will be held a training camp and a coach clinic.
We would like to schedule a meeting of the sabre representative from the Nordic countries to discuss the future of the Nordic Sabre Championships. This is a Marianne Wilson proposal and we hope that sabre fencers from Norway will attend the Championships.

October 5 & 6 Arrival of the participants
October 7 – 9 Training camp and a coach clinic
Nordic Sabre Championships
October 10 & 11 Nordic Sabre Championships
Venue: Fencing Sabre Center in Laugardal (National Football Stadium), Reykjavik
Entry fee: 20 EUR per individual entry, 60 EUR per team
Referees: As per NFU rules.
1–4 fencers No obligation to provide a referee
5–9 fencers One referee
10 or more fencers Two referees
Airlines and transport:
A lot of airlines are flying to Iceland. The Keflavik international airport is about 45 min. drive from Reykjavik City and regular bus service is available from the airport to Reykjavik.
